I purchased this item as it seemed like a good idea. Anything to help coffee attain it’s purest taste was worthwhile in my view. I don’t know if it really makes a difference as I’ve not tried making coffee without it but I feel at this point it’s worth the purchase price.

I have had my Hamilton Beach Brewstation coffee maker for quite some time and just didn’t think about changing the filter until I saw them on Amazon and decided to order them. I changed out the old filter (Yuch! I won’t say what it looked like…) and I immediately noticed a better taste in my coffee. The handle has a dial you can set to tell you which month the filter should be changed out, so just remember to check it now and then.

I hope Hamilton Beach reads this. I would rather buy another coffee maker, that does not have this stupid feature, than pay $10 for (2) little filters that probably cost less than 50 cents to make.

This filter does not fit all model. Have late model Brewstation deluxe and had to cut the handle so I could assemble the pot for use. Works great otherwise. This is the filter that Hamilton Beach recommends, but makes no mention of having to be modified.
