I broke two of these bottles in less than 24 hours when they fell from the kitchen counter onto the tile floor below. I was rather amused the first time thinking it was fluke. However, after the second one (which was a free gift from BIG 5 after i complained) it also broke. Nalgene no longer boast of their durability like they use to because quite simply they aren't that durable anymore. Perhaps it's due to the removal of BPA from the product. I wouldn't take this thing hiking. One slip from my backpack and I'd be dehydrated in a couple of hours. Amazon won't do exchanges because it's not stocked by them, but they will refund. The return process is very easy. But I have found no other way to contact Reiss to see if I placed the order again, if I would indeed get the right bottle. So I'm leaving a 1 star review.
