I THINK this is supposed to be a very safe kind of plastic, from what I can find — interms of leaching plasticizers… My son loves it and he doesn’t lose the lid because it’s attached! Best of all, it doesn’t leak!

I am painting the kid’s name and sometimes a design of their choice on the bottle and giving them as Birthday gifts. I’ve used “Testors” paints and they hold up very well. My three year old can even open them and the bigger kids think they’re cool. A little less plastic for us.

I suppose I was too quick at the draw when I ordered this water bottle. The product description was in metric so I did not realize how small the bottle was. The image provided on the site is completely misleading, because it appears on its own it look like a 14 – 20 oz water bottle when its really only about 7 – 8 oz. Truthfully who needs an 8 oz water bottle? If it weren’t so costly to return it I would. Oh well. Can not recommend this item.

This thermos is perfect for my needs. It is not plastic or aluminum, both which are extremely hazzardous to our health. It is stainless steel, light weight and perfect for school lunches.
