This was a replacement water filter for a Whirlpool fridge. Product is working quite well so far. It fit in perfectly with no leaks. I would purchase again at next replacement cycle.

Product was just fine and worked well. It came in just a couple days. I was very satisfied with Amazon.com, as usual.

The essence of my review is that having needed the item I found that the lowest total price for the item, plus the convenience and trust factor, was through Amazon.com.
The item, an inline water filter, is a necessary accessory for a refrigerator I acquired, not by choice. It is an expensive water filter with a recommendation to replace every 6 months. In fact, it is recommended to replace it every 1 months if you don't use the refrigerator water delivery system for that period of time. Therefore, it doesn't seem an ideal item for a vacation home not frequently used. So your decision buy a refrigerator with this feature should really be based on your belief in the value of water filtration and frequency of use
Installation is an ease: twist on and twist off. Use a towel to catch excess water, however. There will be some (about a quarter cup) overflow spillage when you remove it. You'll have to clean it up. The item is probably in the back corner of most refrigerators, as it was in mine, so your spill will probably traverse multiple levels as it flows down the wall.
So for the best overall value it's Amazon.com. But think about the cost, convenience and need for this accessory before you buy a refrigerator.
