I live in LA and the water tastes nasty. This filter makes it drinkable, though it’s no Sparkletts.
Pros: It is very easy to change the filter and the faucet looks nice and works pretty well. I haven’t had any trouble with leakage. I also installed it myself fairly easily. The filters are not as expensive as some.
Cons: Like I said, the water tasted much better, but still a tiny bit “off” in LA. Also, it tastes worse after a month or two (before the light indicates the filter needs to be changed). The biggest problem is that the water comes out slower than I’d like. It takes several seconds to fill up a glass. Also, no temperature control on the water.
I’m being very picky–this is basically a good product and much nicer/better than dealing a pitcher. I’m keeping it, but if I had to do it over again, I might spring for reverse osmosis.

Oh so much easier to change filters…spectacularly easy! The water even runs a little faster than with my prior filter and it won’t burst the casing and leak all over the floor of the cupboard and destroy it…I highly recomment this product. I have one under the sink and for the ice maker. Superb!

What can I say… it’s a level 4 promises to remove lead, mbte.. it’s one of the easiest replacement cartridges to change.. just hope it works:)

Water tastes great, it’s easy to install and replace, price is convenient too.
Water runs slowly after a while. Mine has never gotten close to 500 gallons of water (it’s already a third cartridge), had to replace it much earlier. And they say the tap water in NYC is good.
