The bike cage works fine. I have had no problems with the bottle falling out. You do have to be a little careful when taking the bottle out of the cage so as not to clank it against your bike… but it’s not that big of a deal.

This cage has two fatal flaws: 1) its hard plastic edges and surface scrape the paint off of your beautiful Klean Kanteen water bottle, and 2) it needs more mounting hole positions. In addition, it is aesthetically unappealing. A simpler, cleaner look, with rubberized aluminum, might address the two issues.

Klean Kanteen Water Bottle Bike Cage for 27-Ounce Bottles

I have used this product for over a month now and I do not have any complaints. The product is well made and fits my Klean Kanteen water bottle like a glove.

I would perhaps like for the manufacturer to consider making the product in metal, which is more sturdy, IMHO.

Works well and holds the 27oz. bottle pretty securely. The plastic is rather thin so I wouldnt expect it to last as long as the Kanteen but for the price its not a bad deal. One problem is that it alittle tough to get the Kanteen out of the holder without hitting the bike. Over time this could nick up the paint on the bike but if you are careful in removing the bottle it shouldnt be a problem.

I like this a lot, especially when comparing it to plastic, stainless steel just seems much cleaner. The only drawback is in learning how to use the cap. Because the bottle is not plastic, you can’t squeeze it, so you have to use the special cap and it’s really just a matter of getting used to it.
