Aquamira Water 22oz Bottle & Filter with Mira Guard
I was looking forward to this water filter bottle as I am going traveling overseas next week. It arrived with the filter snapped in half. I called customer service and they say they will refund my money but only time will tell if that is so. If they don’t give me the refund, Amazon will hear from me. Unfortunately, I need to order another water filter bottle.

The bottle and the filter work well. The filter does come apart sometimes but you just slide it back together and keep going.
It seems very durable and hopefully will last long. I sent it with my husband on his hunting trip.

I purchased the Aquamira will great expectations. We want to give up purchasing bottled water, but want to be drinking pure water. It is impossible to get water to flow through the Aquamira filter. We make sure the filter is thoroughly wet, and even then water will barely flow through the filter. I can’t imagine ever being out on the bike trail and trying to get a drink. Will certainly end up in a ditch!

I love to do four wheeling and I got this product for a “survival backapck” that I usually carry on my Wrangler. I did some kind of tests, basically to know how opearate this filter, but instructions are very limited. I don’t know how much time I can store the filter or some other basic information, like how to identify when you need to replace the filter.
The filter works fine and I think it does a nice job because after filtration water is tasteless and fresh but the plastic bottle is so hard but moreover the spout closes so easily when you are sucking water out of the bottle sealing it off. To make it even worse, water leaks from the bottleneck!!
I’ve been loking for a platic bottle to fit on it the filter, and if possible a greater water capacity. Don’t waste your money, I’m sure you will find easily a similar but better product.
